We had a great turn out for Relay For Life on July 10-11th.

Our team exceeded their fundraising goal by over $1,000. Our final total was $6,023.40. We could not have done this without our dedicated Moose members, friends and families that made donations.

Thanks again to each of you.

See you next year at Relay. We are always looking for new team members. Think about it and join us next year for this great opportunity to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back to find a cure for cancer.

This is the 3rd year Astoria Chapter and Lodge have had a Relay For Life Team. Relay is July 10-11 at Seaside High School Track.

The Relay begins at 10 a.m. with a Survivor lap. All cancer survivors are invited to participate in this amazing event.

At dark (around 9:30 pm) the luminaria bags are lit. This is a very solemn and touching ceremony. Everyone is invited to attend.

Our team has held several fundraising events and to date have raised $2500 of their $5000 goal. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation, write your check to American Cancer Society and mail to Astoria WOTM, PO Box 381 Astoria, OR 97103 or drop you check off at the lodge. All donations are appreciated.

Oregon's Moose Legion Celebration will be held at the Astoria Lodge this year. Dates are August 7-8.
